Pet Portraits
Aside from my wildlife art, I specialise in high quality and realistic pet portraits, all drawn in the highest quality coloured pencils and on artist quality paper.
If you are interested in commissioning a portrait, please get in touch via the 'Get In Touch' section below.
Ensuring absolute customer satisfaction is imperative to me and I will stay in touch throughout the whole portrait process with regular check ins to make sure you are happy with the portrait and to make it easy to make any adjustments or changes along the way.
If you wish to commission a portrait after your initial enquiry, I ask that you read through the instructions below before sending any photographs of your pet. Keeping to the advice is important for the process to go as smoothly and quickly as possible and ensures the portrait can be done to the highest quality and last a life time. Thank you!

Commissioning a Portrait
Photo Reference
Selecting your reference photo is crucial to the portrait quality. The higher the photo quality, the more detail I will be able to capture. Sending multiple photos can be helpful to gage the pets fur colour.
I ask that the actual portrait reference photo to be taken in natural light, avoiding harsh light and shadows and ensure their face is well light. Please take photos at eye level. I have found that this produces the best overall look to the portrait.
It is not always easy to get the perfect photo especially as most of our furry friends are very busy and don't sit still for long! If you're having trouble, please reach out. I'm happy to assist where I can and if you live locally, I am also happy to come and take photographs myself.
For portraits with multiple animals, I can use individual photos but having a reference where they are together is helpful for sizing correctly.
After Enquiry
Once I have received your initial enquiry, I will be touch. We will discuss sizing, deadlines (e.g a specific date like a birthday) any extras that you might like added and I will ask you to send over any high definition photos you have.
Booking Confirmation
When you have decided on all the details and I have the reference photos, I will email an invoice for a non-refundable 50% deposit of the portrait cost. You will receive an estimated completion date (this is usually 2-3 week) but may vary if the portrait is large or during busy holiday periods.
Once the deposit is paid, your commission will commence and I will be in contact through the process with updates. Always feel free to message me too with any queries.
Upon completion, your portrait will be posted with signed for and tracked 24/48 postage ensuring your drawing is delivered safely.
All drawing are packaged securely to ensure it is not damaged in transit.
