I as the artist retain full copyright on all of my artwork including prints and any initial sketches/designs.

When a portrait is commissioned, I have the right to display it on my website and social media but if you doo not wish to have your portrait show online, please let me know in advance. No portraits or portrait process photos/videos will be shared on any of my online platforms until after the portrait has been received by either the client or the recipient of the portrait.

Once in receipt of your commissioned portrait, you are free to copy or re print copies of the artwork but I am happy to have copies professionally printed at an extra cost, These prints are as close to the original as possible.

This is not the case for my original artworks and prints.

Payment

To commission a portrait, payment must be made in full before the drawing begins.

I am currently only taking bank transfers for UK payments and am only shipping in the UK. This will change and payment terms will be updated when international shipping commences.

Please be aware that I have a waitlist and set diary for commission work so some wait times can be 1-2 months wait time so please contact me in advance to ensure your portrait can be completed and delivered y your desired time.

All work and payment details will be confirmed before the drawing starts and I am happy to send over a receipt of commission work.

Shipping

I ship all orders to the address provided using signed and tracked delivery service.

All commissions are gift wrapped and packaged securely between heavy duty backing board so the artwork cannot bend or crease in transit.

Please make clear the address and name of recipient at the time of ordering.

Cancellations

All clients have a 7 day money back guarantee from the date of payment to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

If an order is cancelled past the 7 day money back guarantee time, the full payment amount will be retained as a loss of business to cover any time I have spent on mock ups, the commission drawing, materials used and time spent on administration.

Damage In Transit

As stated under shipping, I package my portraits to ensure your commissioned arrives safely and without damage but in the unlikely event that any damage does occur, please email me with photos immediately.

Depending on the severity of the damage, portraits can be sent back to me and added to the waitlist to be redrawn in the same way as the original to be sent back.

Changes to Commissioned Work

Before shipping your portrait, I will ask if you wish to see the drawing first. This makes any changes or adjustments to the portrait must easier. Once the portrait has been received  by the client, they will also have 7 days to contact me if they require any alterations. If so, the portrait will need to be returned to me and shipping costs both ways will need to be covered by the client.

Portrait Production Time

Throughout the year I often have a waiting list, this is heavily influenced by the time of year and how many portraits I have in my diary. Once I begin a portrait, completion time and delivery is usually within two weeks but I will give an estimated date once the portrait is booked in. I will do my best to accommodate specific dates e.g. birthdays, anniversaries etc. please let me know these in advance.
